Video Demonstration

Update - September 19 2009

I've recently gotten to work on the project starting on the Fairy Fountain in North clock town, I'm going in this random order, only for now, so that I can release a type of trailer to show the game is actually being made.

I'll release this video once I've completed North Clock Town, (or at least the base of it)

News - September 17 2009

So I'm basically preparing for everything, making sure the ideas I have for the game can be done, such as having the under water world that is going to support Link's Zora transformation. This idea is based off the fact that in earlier versions of Zelda 2D games, such as LA (Link's Awakening) the under water view was typically side scroller style. I have a plan to make it so when Link is wearing the Zora mask, and when the player dives as a Zora, the player will "dive" into a whole different map (the underwater map of the previous map).

This idea means that instead of having a side view of being underwater, the player will have the same top down view, and have the option to swim, or dive again to walk on the ocean floor. Of course swimming would be faster then walking.

But with this idea, problems I saw in the Great Bay Temple are diminished, the water wheel that seemingly acts as a toilet with holes, will work perfectly.

As for now, I'm putting together a little trailer that will start in the Great Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town, and will maybe show a demonstration of what I plan to do with the underwater style views.
